SHIPPING AND LOGISTICS MANAGER

Your Responsibilities:

• Efficient Supply Chain Management: Ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain throughout the organization.
• Logistics Planning and Management: Plan and manage logistics, warehouse operations, transportation, and customer services to optimize the entire order cycle.
• Order Cycle Optimization: Direct, optimize, and coordinate the full order cycle, ensuring seamless processes from order placement to delivery.
• Supplier and Customer Liaison: Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers to facilitate smooth transactions.
• Inventory and Quality Management: Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Problem Resolution: Resolve any arising problems or complaints related to shipping and logistics operations.
• Workforce Supervision: Supervise, coach, and train warehouse workforce, fostering a productive and skilled team.
• Performance Targets: Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets, ensuring the team’s performance aligns with organizational goals.
• Metrics Analysis: Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement continuous improvements in logistics and shipping operations.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements, upholding legal and quality standards.
• Strategic Planning: Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services to align with organizational objectives.
• Guideline Adherence: Ensure all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements, promoting a culture of compliance and excellence.
• Performance Evaluation: Update and evaluate metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements for ongoing efficiency.
• Warehouse Organization: Organize the warehouse, label goods, plan routes, and process shipments efficiently.
• Inbound and Outbound Delivery Planning: Plan and monitor inbound and outgoing deliveries, optimizing transportation routes and schedules.

Your Profile:

• Proven experience as a Shipping and Logistics Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics processes.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Negotiation and communication abilities.
