PACKAGING MANAGER

Your Responsibilities:

• Packaging Material Innovation: Responsible for all work related to product packaging, including the development of new materials such as biodegradable plastics and recycled paperboard.
• End-to-End Packaging Management: Manage the entire packaging process from inception to completion, encompassing the design of new packages or labels and the procurement of necessary supplies.
• Environmental Impact Assessment: Evaluate the environmental impact of various packaging materials to identify and implement more sustainable solutions.
• Design Strategy: Determine the best approach for designing packaging that aligns with the product and brand, focusing on functionality and aesthetic appeal.
• Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the availability of adequate materials for production runs, maintaining seamless production processes.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records for all new materials and finished products, optimizing storage space and facilitating effective production planning.
• Facility Compliance: Ensure adherence to good housekeeping practices and safe operating procedures throughout the facilities, promoting a secure and clean work environment.
• Recommendations for Efficiency: Make recommendations on packaging operations to enhance efficiency and sustainability, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Profile:

• Proven experience as a Packaging Manager or in a related role.
• In-depth knowledge of packaging materials, including biodegradable plastics and recycled paperboard.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Environmental sustainability awareness and commitment.
• Creative and strategic thinking for effective packaging design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to coordinate with suppliers and ensure a smooth supply chain.
• Experience with inventory management and production planning.
